My name is Marco Bohorquez.  Besides having the incredible honor of running for Sunrise Commissioner Seat A, let me tell you a little more about myself. My wife and I have resided in the beautiful city of Sunrise for almost 15 years.  I was born in Los Angeles, California and have lived in many places which include Missouri, New York, and Virginia. However, I have called South Florida my home since 1986.  I attended Nova High School, Broward College and Florida Atlantic University. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology.  I am now an independent financial advisor with Legacy Wealth Management.  I have been in the financial services industry since 1999.   I have been active with the City of Sunrise for almost 10 years and some of the great experiences include:
